Michael Brown has criticised Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson on BBC Sport for his mistake against Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday evening.
The former Manchester City midfielder and BBC Sport pundit could not believe the mistake that Alisson made for the first goal that Liverpool conceded against Wolves.
The first goal for Wolves came in the 26th minute.
Goncalo Guedes was the player who scored.
The £190,000-a-week (SalarySport) goalkeeper received the ball under little pressure inside the Liverpool penalty box.
The Brazil international goalkeeper passed the ball straight to Wolves forward Guedes.
And the Wolves star did not make a mistake.
Alisson is one of the best goalkeeper on the planet and is a world-class player.
The Liverpool star has been superb over the years and is brilliant with his feet and in one-v-ones.
We do not see often see Alisson make such bad errors, and we are not surprised that BBC Sport pundit Brown is shocked by the Liverpool and Brazil star.
MICHAEL BROWN ON ALISSON MISTAKE FOR LIVERPOOL V WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS
Brown said: “Alisson starts it early into Thiago and he gets caught and then it continues. They are taking far too much time on the ball.
“It is a ridiculous mistake from Alisson, he rolls the ball straight to Guedes who says ‘thank you very much’ and rolls it into the net. It is as bad a mistake as you will ever see.”
