REPORT: LIVERPOOL NOW READY TO OPEN TALKS WITH £91,000-A-WEEK PLAYER MANCHESTER UNITED WANT

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United are now ready to make offers to Inter Milan central defender Milan Skriniar, but so are Graham Potter’s Chelsea, Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur, Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, according to TEAMtalk.

LIVERPOOL AND MANCHESTER UNITED TO SUBMIT OFFERS TO MILAN SKRINIAR

TEAMtalk are reporting today that Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham and Newcastle all are ready to make offers to Skriniar.

The Slovakia international central defender is out of contract at Inter at the end of the season, and the 27-year-old £91,000-per-week (SalarySport) star will be able to field pre-contract agreements with clubs outside of Italy from January.

Paris Saint-Germain are also reportedly keen on the former Sampdoria star.

TOP SIGNING FOR THE REDS OR THE RED DEVILS

In our opinion, Milan Skriniar would be a brilliant signing for any club, including Liverpool and Manchester United, especially on a free transfer.

Yes, Liverpool have a very strong defensive unit, but Skriniar is one of the best in the world in his position and is at the top of his game at the age of 27.

The centre-back would be able to make an immediate impact at Anfield.

Manchester United do have Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane at the back, and there is also Harry Maguire.

However, the chance to sign Skriniar on a free transfer next summer would be too good to pass on for the Red Devils.
