Rangers supporters have been creating a lively atmosphere within Liverpool city centre as they prepare to watch their side in action at Anfield this evening.
Strangely, the sides have never met in a competitive fixture but that all changes tonight as the Scottish giants make the trip to Merseyside in search of three points in their Champions League group.
It seems those who have made the journey to Liverpool are making the most of a rare meeting between the clubs, sampling a number of spots in the centre while singing Rangers-related songs to pass the time.
Supporters of the Scottish side were spotted in large numbers in hotspots such as Concert Square and Mathew Street in the city centre.
And the fans then marched to Anfield, creating an incredible atmosphere ahead of the Champions League match.
The Reds are in desperate need of a strong performance after their poor start to the season continued on Saturday afternoon as Brighton earned a share of the spoils in a 3-3 draw. Jurgen Klopp’s side were victorious last time out in Europe’s elite competition and currently sit second in Group A, three points behind leaders Napoli. Rangers, meanwhile, are bottom of the pack after suffering defeats by Ajax and Napoli in their opening two fixtures.
