But what a goal from Danny Welbeck.
The Brighton & Hove Albion marksman added his side’s third of the evening in a 3-0 victory over Liverpool.
From a throw in, Welbeck knocked the ball over Ibrahima Konate’s head and volleyed past Alisson in the final 10 minutes of the contest.
It was a brilliant goal regardless of how disappointing Jurgen Klopp’s side were on the day.

A number of Seagulls messaged Welbeck in response to the Instagram post, including one who Liverpool supporters know well.
Adam Lallana was released by Liverpool a couple of years ago and here’s what the former Reds midfielder wrote: “Pure sauce” followed by appropriate flame emojis.
It was a reminder of how excellent the former Manchester United youth can be on his day.
You have to say that although Liverpool were missing a number of major players – Virgil van Dijk, Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino – take nothing away from the strike.
Even had Van Dijk been playing, Welbeck still might’ve pulled off something magical and despite his history with the Anfield outfit, Lallana was right to herald it.
