LIVERPOOL TRANSFER NEWS: CLUB WILLING TO REJECT £100M+ OFFER FOR REDS TARGET

Eintracht Frankfurt’s Head of Football has said he would be willing to reject a £100m+ bid for star attacker Randal Kolo Muani, with Liverpool believed to be interested in the forward.

Speaking to Sky Germany, Timmo Hardung revealed that the club are in a position where they can turn down a Bundesliga-record offer for Kolo Muani amid reports that Manchester United had made a €120m (£106m) offer for the 24-year-old forward.

Hardung said when asked if Frankfurt, who were recently eliminated from the UEFA Champions League, were even in a position to reject an offer that crosses the £100m threshold: “Yes, we can. In the end, it’s not my decision alone. But yes, it’s an awful a lot of money for a player, even in that category.”

Indeed, the wealth of the Premier League and the certain needs some of the biggest clubs in the division have ahead of the summer means that we could be braced for another record-breaking window in terms of spending, and Kolo Muani could still depart Frankfurt for the right price.

Whilst the Bundesliga side sound adamant that they won’t be deterred from selling Kolo Muani even for £100m+, this stance could easily change if a bid is put on the table, something United might be able to offer as Liverpool will likely to do something similar with one Jude Bellingham.

KOLO MUANI BID COULD BREAK PREMIER LEAGUE RECORD THIS SUMMER

Premier League spending hit ridiculous heights in the January window as the likes of Chelsea splashed the cash at a level we haven’t seen in the history of the sport, and as a result, Kolo Muani could easily become a league-record signing if United decide to go through with their £100m+ bid.

After all, the attacker has been a force in Germany and the Champions League this season, and with such form comes clubs willing to buy in on the hype, which could see Frankfurt land a huge payday with Kolo Muani, who could break all sorts of a records this summer.
