As Liverpool prepare to face Wolves on Wednesday, we have tried to call their predicted lineup.
While Jurgen Klopp’s side will be eyeing returning to winning ways after their 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace, we still expect them to make just 2 changes.
LIVERPOOL PREDICTED LINEUP VS WOLVES
In goal, it comes as no surprise that Alisson Becker will keep his place in the side in our Liverpool predicted lineup against Wolves.
At right-back as well, Trent Alexander-Arnold, who Michael Owen described as ‘really shaky’ via Premier League Productions due to his underwhelming performances this season is also expected to keep his place in the side.
Joel Matip is another member of that Liverpool backline who is likely to start against Wolves, who also received criticism from another pundit in Paul Merson.
Virgil van Dijk is another Reds superstar that has been getting a lot of stick this season but upon his recent return from injury, he is also set to start against Julen Lopetegui’s side.
At left-back as well, Jurgen Klopp could stick with Andy Robertson in what could be an unchanged Liverpool back 4 against Wolves.
In midfield is where changes can be expected with James Milner being replaced by Fabinho as the No.6.
In front of him, Stefan Bajcetic, who Mohamed Salah called his side’s ‘best player’ since the World Cup could replace Naby Keita in our Liverpool predicted lineup against Wolves.
Jordan Henderson is expected to remain the only unchanged member in the middle of the park from the Reds team against Patrick Vieira’s side.
Speaking of Salah, whose agent rubbished rumours about a rumoured exit from Anfield, he is set to start at right wing.
With Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez injured, Cody Gakpo could keep his place up top in our predicted lineup against Wolves, with Diogo Jota playing on the left flank, as was the case against Palace.
Liverpool predicted lineup vs Wolves: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Bajcetic, Henderson, Salah, Gakpo, Jota.
