Jurgen Klopp’s hilarious exchange with journalist during his pre-Ajax press conference

Jurgen Klopp’s hilarious reply to a reporter during his pre-Ajax press conference summed up how bad Liverpool have been recently.

The German was on form in his press conference today as he previewed Liverpool’s second group stage game of the Champions League season against Ajax which will take place at Anfield.

His side has started the season in awful fashion, winning just twice in seven games.

The Reds (on 9 league points) have also lost two and drawn three but are miraculously 6 points behind table toppers Arsenal (15) and second place Man City (15).

In the Champions League, Liverpool lost their first game last week against Napoli. A 4-1 drubbing that underscored the issues at Anfield.

Injuries have plagued the Reds and they are currently without 9 players, including the injured Andy Robertson, who is out until after the international break – another huge blow to Klopp’s squad depth.

Yet, excuses will not help and so Liverpool must get back to what they do best – which is working harder than any other team.

That has not been the case as they have been regularly out-ran, out-sprinted and out-pressed by other teams, with the likes of Manchester United, Everton and Napoli all out-working the Reds.
