FRESH REPORT ❗ Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Adama Traore is subject to fresh transfer speculation linking him with a move to Liverpool

Adama Traore presents Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp with intriguing transfer question amid fresh links

Jurgen Klopp famously declared Adama Traore to be “unplayable” at times but is that enough for the Liverpool manager to make a move for the Wolverhampton Wanderers man?

Fresh reports today claim that Klopp is reviving his interest in long-term transfer target Adama Traore who could leave Molineux this summer.

Liverpool have been linked with a potential big money transfer for the Spain international in the past but despite plenty of chatter, a switch to Anfield has never looked particularly close to actually being on the cards.

While some deals can be protracted like Traore’s international team-mate Thiago Alcantara’s long-running saga last summer before he swapped Bayern Munich for the Reds, at other times things can move fast in football and situations can dramatically alter in a short space of time with fellow Wolves wide man Diogo Jota’s switch to Merseyside at the start of last season a case in point.

So what might have changed here? Well the article reckons Liverpool are trying to land Traore for just £30million which is half Wolves’ asking price when they supposedly last came calling some 18 months ago around the time of Klopp’s noted observation.

Despite the Reds triumphing narrowly on the night, 2-1 at Molineux, with Roberto Firmino’s late goal delivering a 22 nd win in 23 games en route to their first League Championship in 30 years, Klopp waxed lyrical about the threat presented by Traore, proclaiming: “He is unplayable in moments, it’s unbelievable.
