Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has raved about his former Wolverhampton Wanderers teammate Adama Traore, who has been linked with Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Jesse Marsch’s Leeds Unied in the January transfer window.
Jota played with Traore at Wolves, and the Liverpool and Portugal international forward has said on AJ3 that the Spain international winger is “unique” and very quick.
TEAMtalk have claimed that Tottenham wanted to sign the 26-year-old winger in January 2022 and remain keen on landing him in the January transfer window.
Leeds Sporting Director Victor Orta personally wants to bring the winger to Elland Road in the middle of the season, according to the report.
Traore is out of contract at Wolves at the end of the season.

Jota said about Traore, as transcribed by TBR: “I trained with him every day when he was at Wolves and he’s unbelievably quick.
“He’s also very strong, so even if you guess the way he is going, he just knocks you out. He’s a unique player, really, I would say.”

Meanwhile, FootMercato have reported that Leeds United are among the clubs interested in signing AS Monaco goalkeeper Lisandru Olmeta.
Chelsea, Manchester United West Ham United are also reported to be interested in Olmeta.
